A letter to my 15 year old self

Dear Marie-Clare,

Just a quick note to remind you that your are beautiful just the way you are. I know you feel like you are the only person in the world to have stretch marks, but you aren’t. I know you feel like a man will never love you because of them. Or because your ears poke out a bit, or because you have a big bum. But one day, you will fall madly in love, and he will treat you exactly the way you should be treated. So just be happy. Don’t worry about what other people think about you and just make the most of the incredible friends and family you have around you. The next few years won’t be plain sailing, but you are strong enough to deal with anything that comes your way.

So go get ’em girl! Live your life, be happy, kiss a few frogs, fall in love and don’t sweat the small stuff.

Lots of love,

Your future self.

P.S Have courage and be kind
